Frank Zafiro is a retired Spokane, Washington police captain who now lives in Redmond, Oregon with his wife and their pets. Drawing from his experience on the police force, Zafiro has penned numerous crime novels.
His featured novel, Blood on Blood, is a mystery that he co-wrote with crime fiction author, Jim Wilsky. This dark novel follows the tumultuous journey of two half brothers who, after being summoned to their father's prison death bed, embark on a search for jewels from an old diamond heist. One brother has followed in his father's footsteps as a career criminal, while the other is a down-on-his-luck failed police officer. They lead vastly different lives, but both see the loot as their ticket out of Chicago.
