We are kicking off September with an extra special author event! Local favorite, Jane Kirkpatrick, will be presenting her highly-anticipated latest novel. Jane's new releases are always one of the biggest highlights of the year for our store and customers, so we're excited to be hosting her for this presentation. This same evening we will also be hosting Karen Spears Zacharias who will be presenting the new anthology in which she is featured, Anthology of Appalachian Writers. This collection of prose, poetry and photographs showcases artists from Appalachia and the region that inspires them. Initially we had separate events planned for these two fantastic authors, but we combined them at Jane's request because she thinks her readership in particular would connect with Karen's work. This is going to be a great event, and we're expecting more than our usual turnout so feel free to come early to get a seat!
