We're excited to host local author Ted Haynes as he presents his new murder mystery, which is set right here in Central Oregon. The Mirror Pond Murders is the story of attorney Sarah Chatham, who discovers a personal connection to a grisly murder when she is asked to collect the remains of a young girl's skeleton which was discovered at the bottom of Mirror Pond. As she works Jim Sorenson, a City of Bend Police detective and a team of friends and strangers, Chatham discovers the young girl isn't the only death related to her, Mirror Pond and Rajneeshpuram, the strangest city ever built in Oregon.

The Mirror Pond Murders is filled with danger, suspense and scenery that will feel like home to Central Oregon dwellers. The familiarity of the setting adds to the thrill of this page-turning story. This is an event for the mystery lovers in our readership.
