Marianne Taylor is a freelance nature writer, photographer and illustrator and has written more than 30 books on wildlife and related subjects. Her passion for animals and natural history has been the guiding force in her life and, when not writing about the natural world, she can usually be found out in the countryside (or in the sea), learning as much as she can through first-hand observations of wildlife.
