Description

An 18th century boy and his dog are uprooted from a life of comfort when his father clashes with the monarchy over heavy taxation. They leave Portugal on a brigantine destined for Brazil when a storm pushes them of course and the Captain is injured losing his ability to navigate.The dog's keen sense of direction can save the day but only one person believes the boy and he isn't a sailor.
